Ahoy, mate!

It's so hot here and I wish I was somewhere at the beach with a cold drink in hand. But this year all the beach I will see is on my cards. I made a card for the MFT Slimline challenge. I masked stamps from Party like a pirate and Penguin in paradise set. For the background I was inspired by Maartje. She has a video how to create this background.

I am also sharing two cards that my 4 year old son Ahac created with a bit of help. He loves spending time in my craft room. For the first card he used Lawn fawn Smooth sailing and made summer night card. He added some sparkling stars to the sky.

For the second card he used Lawn fawn Rawrsome. He added a touch of sparkle to the volcano.

 

Ahac was so proud of his work. He said one card is for mommy and one for daddy. Now he is already going throught my stamps what to color next.

Po dolgem času nova blog objava. Bolj sem aktivna na Instagramu.
Danes sem ustvarila čestitko za Lawn fawnatics izziv - Lots of love. Za glavni motiv sem uporabila prikupna mormona iz seta Stud puffins in ju pobarvala s copic markerji. Ozadje sem senčila s cracked pistachio, peacock feathers in faded jeans distress inki. Iz belega papirja sem ven izrezala še srce in vse skupaj sestavila. Na koncu sem še toplotno embosirala napis.

After a long time a new blog post. I am more active on Instagram.
I made a card following the Lawn fawnatics challenge - Lots of love. For my main motive I used these cute Stud puffins from LF and colored it with copic markers. Then I blended my background with Distress Inks (cracked pistachio, peacock feathers and faded jeans). I took a white cardstock and die cutted out the heart. I heat embossed the sentiment from the same set as the animals.

Dinozavri - Dinosaurs

Živjo, 

Na sinovo željo sem danes ustvarjala z dinozavri. Uporabila sem Rawrsome in Big thanks štampiljke od Lawn fawn.  Želela sem bolj rdečkasto oranžno nebo za ozadje, zato sem uporabila Scattered Straw, Abandoned Coral in Seedless Preserves distress blazinice. Tla sem senčila z Antique linen in Brushed corduroy, ter ga pošpricala z Vinatge photo. Iz zelenega in rjavega papirja sem izrezala še palme, ter vse skupaj sestavila. Del napisa sem odtisnila v notranjost voščilnice, vendar ga nisem uspela slikati.

At my son's request I made a card with Dinosaurs. I used Rawrsome and Big thanks stamps from Lawn fawn. I wanted a more reddish orange sky for the background, so I used  Scattered Straw, Abandoned Coral in Seedless Preserves distress ink. I shaded the floor with Antique linen in Brushed corduroy and sprayed it with Vintage photo distress ink. I cut out the palms trees from green and brown paper, and put it all together. I stamped a part of the sentiment on the inside of a card, but I didn't manage to take o photo.

Lovim še zadnje ure za Lawn Fawnatics izziv, kjer želijo videti nekaj kar se vidi skozi. Osnovo sem senčila s shaded lilac in tattered rose distress inkom. Izrezala sem oborobo oblakov in iz paus papirja oblačke. S copic makerji sem pobarvala Fairy friends od Lawn Fawn in dodala še par zvezdic.

I'm entering this card to Lawn Fawnatics challenge Something see through. For the background I used shaded lilac and tattered rose distress ink. Than I die cuted border clouds and clouds from paus paper. With copic markers I colored Fairy friends stamp set by Lawn fawn and added a couple stars.

Trenutno je obseden z luno in planeti. Prejšni mesec smo gledali lunin mrk in sedaj me vsak večer sprašuje, kdaj bo naslednji mrk. Prav tako skoraj vsak večer gledamo v nebo luno, jupiter in saturn.

 

He is obsessed with moon and planets. Last month we watched lunar eclipse and now every night he is asking me when will be next eclipse. Also we have to watch the moon, Jupiter and Saturn regulary.

 

Je tudi velik oboževalec dinozavrov. Naslednji mesec, ko bo praznoval rojstni dan, bo tema dinozavri.

He is also big fan of dinosaurs. Next month is his birthday and the theme will be dinosaurs.

Pod vodo - Under the sea

Oštevam dneve do morja in dopusta, tako da sem naredila eno morsko čestitko. Uporabila sem izdelke Lawn Fawn. Zelenje sem senčila z mowed lawn distress inkom. Morsko ozadje pa s salty ocean, mermaid lagoon and broken china. Za sončne žarke sem uporabila Hero Arts unicorn blazinico in ozadje še malo pošpricala z vodo.

I'm counting the days till the holidays at the beach, so I made a sea card. I used Lawn Fawn products. For the bayou backdrop I used mowed lawn distress ink. The sea background is colored with salty ocean, mermaid lagoon and broken china distress ink. For sun rays, I used Hero arts unicorn ink. I splashed the background slightly with water.

Najino prijateljstvo... - Our friendship...

Deževni vikend je bil kot nalašč za ustvarjanje. Čestitko za prijatljico sem naredila po skici Lawn Fawnatics. Uproabila sem set Upon a star. Najprej sem toplotno embosirala ozvezdje, nato pa ga senčila s Tattered rose, Picked raspberry in Seedless preserves distress blazinicami. Sive zvezdice sem odtisnila s Hero arts Soft granite blazinico.

The rainy weekend was perfect for some crafting.  For a friend I made a card after Lawn Fawnatics sketch. I used Upon a star stamp set. First I heat embossed the stars and  than I blend it with Tattered rose, Picked raspberry and Seedless preserves distress inks. The grey stars are stamped with Hero arts Soft granite ink.

Na zunanjost voščilnice sem odtisnila samo začetek napisa, v notranjost pa preostanek.

On the front of a card I stamped only the beginning of the sentiment, and on the inside the rest of it.

Pred časom sem si končno kupila nekaj Lawn Fawn štampiljk. Vedno občudujem njihove izdelke, ki se tako lepo dopolnjujejo med seboj in se dajo ustvariti v res odlične scene. Ker poletja še ni konec, sem se lotila izdelave voščilnice s kitom.

Božične zvezde

Marina iz Mavelu želi videti na voščilnicah belo belo in belo. Ko sem malo razmišlala kaj narediti, sem ugotovila, da že dolgo časa nisem uporabila embossing praha. Tako je najprej nastala bela čestitka, nato pa sem naredila še par barvnih. Meni je najbolj všeč zadnja, na temno rdečem paiprju. Pa vam?
