Purr-fect Birthday

After a long time a new blog post. I am more active on Instagram. I will try to be more consistent here.

I made a card following the My favorite thing sketch challenge. For my main motive I used girl and a cat from My favorite things - Purr-fect birthday and colored it with copic markers. Next I cut a 10x14cm white cardstock and used salvaged patina to create my background.  I stamped a few stars in the same color on the background. From white cardstock I cut out stitched rectangel frame from white cardstock. On grey cardstock I heat embossed Happy birthday sentiment.

Happy birthday fox

Hello,

For the last day of MFT Camp create 2021, day 5 the theme is Delightful die cutting. I used Lots of hearts stencil for the background and blend it with salty ocean distress ink. From blue scraps I cutted two banners, than I die cutted Happy birthday circle frame and added little fox from Fox and friends stamp set.

2021 MFT Camp Create ~ Day5

Hello,

Day 4 of MFT Camp create and the theme is background bonanza. This was easy to do. I used shaded lilac, salty ocean and mowed lawn distrerss inks for the background. I took Lots of hearts stencil and blended the hearts with the same distress inks I used for the background. From white cardstock I die cutted Sentiment label strip. With black ink I stamped the sentiment from Sassy pants Best friends on to the label. Two coconuts drinks are from Penguins in paradise set.

Day 3 of MFT Camp create and the theme is Emboss resist. I started this card by heat embossing the flowers and than blend it with mermaid lagoon distress ink. I also splashed some blue ink to the background. I stamped and colored the motive from Penguins in paradise set with copic markers.

Floral focus

Hello,

Day 2 of MFT Camp create 2021 is all about watercoloring.  I stamped and white heat embossed Floral focus. I colored the flowers with zig markers. It's been a while since I did some watercoloring and I am a bit out of practice. I love the result of watercoloring but I think I am going to stick with Copic markers. For the background I used Mermaid lagoon distress ink and some Nuvo crystal drops.

MFT is having Camp Create 2021 challenge. And for Day 1 the theme is Shaker projects. I used Party like a pirate stamps and Hello die. Backgound behind the Hello word is colored with mermaid lagoon distress ink and blue sequins are from Mavelu.
