Srečen božič

Živjo.

Danes se vam oglašam kot gostja v Craftalnici, kjer za #398 izziv Srečen božič želimo, da izdelate voščilnico, kjer uporabite božični napis.

Sama sem uporabila napis Srečen božič od Najlepšega para. 

Ozadje sem senčila s Spun sugar in Squeezed lemonade distress inkom, sneg pa s Salty ocean. Iz srebrnega papirja sem izrezala okvir, ki sem ga nalepila na ozadje. Z alkoholnimi markerji sem pobarvala zajčka iz seta December duo od Mama elephant. 

Na bel papir sem nalepila obojestranski lepilni trak, nato sem s pomočjo MFT rezalnih šablon izrezala snežinke. Odstranila sem obojestranski lepilni trak in snežinke potresla z belimi bleščicami. Vse skupaj sem sestavila v voščilnico, ki sem jo nalepila na modro osnovo.

Cats 2 + SSS

Hi. 

Here is the second card I made with MFT Housecats, because one card with cats is never enough. For this one I built them their own little home: a brick wall (thanks to English brick wall stencil) in antique linen and brushed corduroy distress ink and a floor with lost shadow distress ink, so they don't float in the air. The cats seem pretty happy with their new place, don't you think?

Cats and SSS Kids

Hi.

My desk is currently full of stamped cats waiting to be colored. Three little girls requested kittens on their birthday cards, so I’ve been busy creating all sorts of feline designs.

This time I wanted to make something a bit different, so I created a circle card. I die-cut the circle and blended the background with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink for a soft look.

The adorable cats are from MFT Housecats, stamped and colored with Copic markers. To build the little scene, I used the MFT Cat & Plant Perches dies to create stands for the plants and kitties.

Pretty poinsettia and SSS Kids

Hi friends. 

August 15th has passed, which for me means it’s officially time to dive into Christmas and holiday cardmaking.

For today’s card, I used the MFT Rectangle Extraordinaire stencil and Evergreen bough Distress oxide ink to make a background. For some texture I embossed the Spellbinders Holly & Foliage 3D embossing folder.

The main image is from MFT Pretty poinsettia, colored with Copic markers. I finished it off with a hot foil sentiment.

As every year, Simon says stamp Kids summer vacation challenge is here again and my kids absolutely love it! 

Jerca (age 4) made a summer card with colorful unicorns.

Ahac (age 8) made a fish and draw some flowers.

Zabavni prepogibi

Živjo.

Danes se vam oglašam kot gostja v Craftalnici, kjer za #386 izziv Zabavni prepogibi želimo, da izdelate voščilnico, ki bo imela vsaj še en dodaten prepogib (prepogib, ki deli osnovo ne šteje).

Za svojo voščilnico sem uporabila čudovite metulje od MFT - Winged wonders, ki sem jih pobarvala s copic markerji in dodala detajle z belim gel pisalom.

Za osnovo sem vzela dve voščilnici, pri čemer sem pri vsaki prepognila eno stranico na pol, nato pa sem ju zalepila skupaj, da sem ustvarila zanimivo zloženo osnovo. Za ozdaje sem vzela črn papir in Pinkfresh studio Stippled plaid press plate, s katerim sem ustvarila teksturo.

Welcome Nace

A friend welcomed a new baby boy and I had to make a card for him. I love making baby cards, it's my favorite occations. As he was born during the summer I made an ocean theam card.

I started with background blending blue distress inks (salty ocean, mermaid lagoon, faded jeans, blueprint sketch and chipped sapphire).  Than I sprinkle a few drops of water on the background to get more realistic underwater look. 

From white cardstock I die cutted Altenew Caps bold Alphabet letters. After that I stamped these cute MFT Friends with fins and colored them with copic markers.

Sweet day

It's been a while since my last post here. I am more active on Instagram. The last couple of weeks I didn't have inspiration to make cards. I didn't enoy it and was actually thinking if I should quit cardmaking altogether. Luckily the motivation came back after I came back from vacation.

Here is a simple summer card to wish someone a nice day. I started this card by die cutting ice creams from pattern paper. Than I stamped MFT Sweet treats - ice creams on white paper and colored it with Copic markers.

It's August and that means Simon says stamp is hosting Kids summer vacation challenge. Every year I encourage my kids to create something.

Christmas tree farm

Hello crafty friends,

To start my card today, I stamped the fox and colored with with Copic Markers (colors listed near bottom of post) Than I  used the coordinating “Christmas Tree Farm” Die-namics to cut them out. For the background I used MFT Drifts and hills stencil and Cracked pistachio distress ink. I die cutted mini trees from Najlepši par and also colored with Copic markers. At the end I draw a few white dots with gel marker to make it look like it snowing.

Here are Ahac's creation for Simon says vacation kids challenge.

Krilca

Živjo.

Danes sem vam oglašam kot gostja v Craftalnici, kjer za #342 izziv želimo videti Krila - uporabi majhno živalico, žuželko s krili.

Sama sem izbirala med pikapolonicami in metulji. Izbrala sem slednje. Začela sem z ozadjem, ki sem ga senčila z distress blazinicami (cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, dusty concord and chipped sapphire) in pošpricala z belo barvo. Metulje sem pobarvala z alkoholnim markerji.

Pri drugi čestitki sem uporabila paus papir. Nanj sem odtisnla metulje in jih toplotno embosirala. Iz barvnega papirja sem dvakrat izrezala metulja. Da ima metulj ves čas dvignjena krila, sem uporabila pvc papir - tehnika, ki sem jo videla pri Jennifer Mcguire.

For MFT color challenge I made card with Magical friends stamp set. I started with background. I stamped Artistic prints with distress inks (squezzed lemonade, dried marigold, worn lipstick and abandoned coral). Than I stamped, colored and die cutted the dragon.

Chill birthday vibes

The heat wave is in full swing here and I am already counting down the days until summer vacation.

I choose a white card base in A2 size and blended a fun background on there. I started with a beach (Vintage photo and Antique linen distress ink), then added the sea using Mermaid lagoon distress ink and then the sky, using Tumbled glass oxide ink. So easy to create a fun beach scene by blending.

I then added the fun images from the Beach bear and Island shell-ebration (palm tree) stamp set! They are spending a fun day on the beach! I just love these critters! I stamped these cuties, diecutted them with the coordinating dies and then coloured them with Copic markers.

Thank you card for a teacher

Hello.

It is the end of school year and I made a thank you card for my daughter's teacher. Every age group is in a different room. Her room is called bunnies.

I stamped bunnies from Mama elephant - Little line agenda to alcohol friendly paper and once no masking paper. I fussy cut the bunnies from masking paper and put them on my card base. With black ink I stamped sentiments from Mavelu.

 
For the background I used MFT - Watercolor wash free form stencil. I blend rainbow background with distress inks (squeezed lemonade, twisted citron, peacock feathers, mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch, wilted violet, picked respberry, dried marigold).

After that I removed the masking paper and colored the bunnies with copic markers.

Shark

Hello,

I made underwater card.

The first thing I did was to stamp my cute shark using an alcohol marker friendly black ink. The shark is from MFT - Friends with fins. I cut him using the coordinating die and colored him using my alcohol markers. And to fit the blue background I had in mind, I picked blue grey shades to color the shark.

Next I cut a 11x14cm white cardstock and used salvaged patina, peacock feathers and blueprint sketch oxide inks to create my underwater background.

I cut the Simon says stamp - Leafy frame out of navy cardstock to create underwater foliage. I stuck the foliage frame on the panel, added highlights on the leaves using a white gel pen, and then attached the shark in the middle of the card using foam squares.

I added more highlights on the image, and finally I stamped some fishes to fill up the empty spaces. And that's it!
